Scope of Work:

Movement of  crane / counterweights to from JHB  to the Botswana / Mozambique of Temporary Basis , utilizing  a step deck / multi axle trailers used with special load extensions required to allow even distribute in accordance with requirements of deck stress calculations as well as securing lashed in accordance with sea fastening protocols

Travelled in convoy with counterweights / Temp customs clearance process allowance .

Crane Weight : 500 / 400 M Ton cranes ( 90 tons  Crane weight)

Longest Piece  : 13.5 – 14.5 m

Four back to back flights consisting two Drum Halves per flight from China to Canada

ESCOM Malawi Demobilization Project

Scope of Work:

Demobilize 3 x Agg Power Plant Sites in Malawi, Blantyre, Lilongwe and Kasungu

Transport 140 x Power Units (132 Trucks )  from Malawi via South Africa in Bond

Bond Store allowed for Pre-Shipment Inspections and Container Recertifications Onforward of the same units to various destination’s as below :

• Botswana
• Dubai
• Ghana
• Netherlands
• Eretria
• Cameroon

Shaft replacement Project

Scope of Work:

Shipping of shaft from China to Durban sea port and final delivery to Site by road utilizing 15 axle line trailer with push pull combination, cargo was loaded and discharged using port cranes in tandem lift and stowed on deck and covered with tarpaulins to protect cargo from elements at sea.

Special load spreading used on deck to evenly distribute the weight in accordance with requirements of deck stress calculations and securing lashed in accordance with sea fastening protocols

Shaft Project Rustenburg / Australia

Scope of Work:

Transportation of a Mineshaft / Head Gear/ Winder Mechanicals  complete with Accessories  for refurbishment , this include route survey, planning, transport of cargo with a mix of extendable trailers , Low Beds , multi-Axel , steerable axels directly to port, including working with suitable geared crawler cranes and others for the loading and offloading with use of the correct lifting equipment and riggers ensuring clear cargo markings , COG , Lifting lugs. Police Escorts, clearance required on Route from local Communications and power authorities.
